Agrotextile with cuts for strawberries 1.2 x 10 m – Agrimpex
Description
Agrotextile with cuts in Agro Marina™ technology, extremely useful in strawberry cultivation. Cross cuts 15 x 15 cm have been arranged alternately in two rows, 33 cm apart. The use of agrotextile has many advantages. First of all, the agrotextile limits the development of weeds, blocking the access of light to the ground, thanks to which the planted strawberries can grow freely, not drowned out by other emerging plants. Another advantage is reducing the evaporation of water from the soil - moisture is retained under the surface of the material, which saves water and time associated with frequent irrigation. Agrotextile is effective insulation of mulching material (e.g. bark) from the soil. The fruits, thanks to placing the seedlings in the holes of the agrotextile avoid getting dirty.
Agrotextile is made of polypropylene with an optimal weight of 50 g/m2, which is light and thin, yet durable . The use of black color accelerates the heating of the substrate. By stabilizing the material to UV radiation, its service life has been increased. The product is made in the Agro MarinaTM technology, which is characterized by immediate water permeability, and even during heavy rainfall does not crush the plants. The structure of the agrotextile allows free air exchange under the surface of the material and does not hinder the development of young plants.
Usage
You should start preparing the substrate by getting rid of weeds. Next, loosen and level the soil and spread the agrotextile. It is best to attach the agrotextile to the ground with pins. At this point, plants can be planted, one per incision. Water the plants without removing the agrotextile, because its porous structure allows free flow of water and air. The permeability of the material makes it easy to fertilize plants with water-soluble fertilizers.
