Decorative garlic 'Red Giant' (Allium Red Giant) is an unusual plant with a huge spherical inflorescence of red-purple color and wide, silvery leaves, growing up to 40 cm in height. It looks amazing on flowerbeds or in a container as a decoration of the terrace or special places in the garden. It is also suitable as a cut flower for a vase, but also to dry and use for various decorations. The properties of this garlic repel rats and voles from the garden.
It grows best planted in a sunny position on a well-drained and fertile ground. It does not tolerate excess water, so it is better to avoid stagnant places.
It is a frost-resistant plant however, in colder regions of the country it may require cover.
After flowering, once every few years it is recommended to divide thickening bulbs so that they grow properly.
