Analogue soil ph-meter
Description
Ph Soil Meter is an extremely useful tool for growing many demanding plants, vegetables and fruits. Thanks to it, you can easily and quickly check the pH of any soil. The device is extremely easy to use - you can make the appropriate measurements in just 60 seconds! All you have to do is insert the probe of the meter into moist soil, and after a minute you will read the pH value indicated by the needle. It is an analog model, so does not require batteries - so you don't have to worry about buying them extra. It has a handy size - 6 cm x 4 cm x 26.5 cm.
The acid meter probe is made of copper and aluminum and the ABS housing is green. Enables you to measure on a pH scale of 3 to 10.
Usage
- Take a sample of the substrate (300-400 g), remove pebbles, blades of grass, roots, leaves etc.
- Pour the soil into a 0.5 liter jar and add a little water to it to keep it moist.
- Wipe the tip of the gauge carefully with rough paper or a brush and insert the probe into the prepared substrate sample.
- After 60 seconds, read the measured value indicated on the scale of the device.
Soil pH:
- very sour : & lt; 4,5 - plants preferring a given reaction: blueberry, cranberry
- acidic: 4.6-5.5 - plants preferring a given reaction: raspberry, gooseberry, azalea, rhododendron, hydrangea
- slightly acidic: 5,6-6,5 - plants preferring a given reaction: apple tree, pear tree, currant, rose, magnolia
- indifferent: 6,6-7,2 - plants preferring a given reaction: cherries, cherries, plums, apricots, peaches
- alkaline: & gt; 7.3 - plants preferring a given reaction: -
