The 'Rote Kugel' beet has a spherical, even shape and a smooth, thin skin. The flesh is dark red, juicy, evenly coloured without any tendency to form light rings, very tasty. It is a very fruitful variety with high taste and health values.
How we sow: beets are sensitive to temperature drops below 0oC, they like sandy-clay soils, rich in nutrients, they have the highest water requirements during the germination period and the east. Beets are only grown from sowing directly into the ground.

Where to use: beets have high nutritional value, are a rich source of vitamins and mineral salts, contain large amounts of sugars and proteins and have a good effect on pectin digestion.
