BioWool mulching 0.8 x 5 m – Agrimpex
Description
BioWool mulchis a fabric with many advantages, perfect for growing vegetables and fruits and as protection against frost. The use of biononwovens has many benefits. First of all, the agrotextile limits the development of weeds, blocking the access of light to the ground, thanks to which the planted plants are not drowned out and can grow freely, and the use of herbicides is limited. Another advantage is reducing the evaporation of water from the soil - moisture is retained under the surface of the material, which saves water and time associated with frequent irrigation. Biotextile is effective insulation of bedding material (e.g. bark) from the soil. The fruits, thanks to placing the seedlings in the holes of the biotextile avoid getting dirty. Sheep wool is a natural barrier for snails - its structure irritates the skin of these pests, which discourages them from approaching the crops. What's more, the use of natural wool enriches the soil with nutrients and organic matter through its gradual decomposition - it is completely biodegradable! An additional functionality of BioWool is protection of plants against frost thanks to its insulating properties.
Usage
You should start preparing the substrate by getting rid of weeds. Next, loosen and level the soil and spread the biotextile. It is best to attach the biotextile to the substrate with pins. Make cuts for the plants, plant them and then water them.
BioNonwoven can also be used to wrap tree trunks, shrubs or entire shrubs (e.g. roses). Sheep wool has excellent insulating properties and protects plants from frost and repels slugs.
It is also possible to use BioWool in pot cultivation - placement:
