Winter Byzantine (Colchicum Giant) is a plant that blooms in pink and its flowers are full and delicate. It grows up to 25 cm high and looks beautifully planted in beds, pots or rock gardens. It is often mistaken for crocuses, but its flowering is in September-October. For good cultivation it requires substrate with clay but not too wet. It grows well in sun or light shade.
