Home growing microgreens, microlisten is a new culinary trend. Micro-leaves are captivating with their appearance, intense colors and fresh scent. They serve as decorations and an ingredient of salads, soups, juices, cocktails and sandwiches. These are young seedlings of vegetables and herbs, sown in the substrate, which already sprout the first proper leaves. They have a more intense flavor than sprouts and even more nutritional value. Microlistles are characterized by the fact that they have the same smell and taste as an adult vegetable of their species. All this thanks to the provision of similar conditions to seeds as for traditional sowing of plants.
Microgreens plants are harvested as the first pair of leaves unfolds from the germinal leaf. Usually one should wait several days for the harvest. Unlike sprouts, only shoots without roots are eaten. They keep fresh much longer . Thanks to this set, you can enjoy a tasty addition regardless of the season!
Before sowing, the seeds should be soaked in lukewarm water for 6-8 hours
In order for microflows to have their valuable properties and grow properly, they should be provided with conditions that correspond to the sowing of traditional plants in the garden. It is best to prepare a flat container, pot or stand and sprinkle it with soil (it can be universal soil, such as for flowers - important that it does not contain weed seeds), or cover it with lignin.
Sow pre-soaked seeds.
During microfilter growth, make sure that the substrate is constantly moist, but not shed. They can be sprinkled with water using the hand sprayer or watered if the container has a drainage of excess water.
To ensure good conditions for the cultivation of the crop, cover it with a transparent lid, so that the seeds have access to the necessary light, but also kept the appropriate humidity.
After such preparation, place the container in a bright place, but avoid direct sunlight so that the seeds do not become moldy, but have power light to grow. The optimal temperature is 18-22 ° C.
