Dakar Grass 1 kg
Description
This is a mixture for soils deficient in nutrients, characterised by low fertility and low ground water level. The appropriately selected varieties of grass with low requirements and well developed root system behave perfectly under worse habitat conditions and withstand the low cutting well. The product guarantees the dense and richly green lawn. Efficiency: 0.5 kg/20 m2.
The seeds of Dakar grass are a product for medium-used areas with an increased amount of sunshine. It may be applied for soils of lower class. The product proves its value well under Polish climatic conditions.
Directions for use
We remove the weeds and then prepare the substrate. At the very beginning, debris, rubbish and stones must be removed thoroughly. Dig through the topsoil at the spade's depth. Then, water the soil abundantly and leave for 2-3 weeks in order to stabilise the ground; roll the soil to quicken the works. The seeds must be sown into the soil with a suitable moisture. Directly before sowing, the soil should be raked to a depth of 2-3 cm.
For the even distribution of seeds, apply the criss cross sowing. After the sowing procedure, it is advisable to rake the ground in order to cover the seeds with a 1-2 cm layer of soil. After the sowing, the entire area must be rolled. After sowing the grass, it is necessary to maintain the permanent moisture of soil. It is advisable to perform the first mowing when the grass reaches the height of 8-10 cm. It should then be cut down to 5.5 cm.
Application
The product should be applied for ornamental lawns at places exposed to sunlight. The sowing operation may be performed from April till the end of September.
Recommended dosage
Depending on the sowing technique, 0.5 kg of the mixture will suffice for 20 m2.
