The Himalayan desert 'Cleopatra' (Eremurus) is a very easy and pleasant plant to grow and care for. It grows well on every soil, in warm and sunny places. It is the main accent of many beds and it fits well with low grasses and other flowering plants. It grows up to 200 cm tall and creates beautiful spike shaped inflorescences with intensive orange color. It tolerates droughts well and reacts badly to overflowing. In our climate it overwinter in the ground, however it needs a straw cover. It is suitable for beds, scales and cut flower cultivation. It keeps a beautiful appearance in a vase for a long time.
