Description
Natural symbiosis of plants and microorganisms
Vegano is an innovative grass blend enriched with micro clover (Trifolium repens), which has ability to fix nitrogen from the air and self-fertilization of the lawn.
Due to the symbiosis of the limb with the beneficial wart bacteria trifolia, atmospheric nitrogen is converted into grass-available forms. Such daily feeding of the lawn makes it self-sufficient and does not require additional fertilization for proper growth. Phosphorus and potassium are also absorbed from the environment.
Micro clover has the ability to fix nitrogen from the air up to 200 kg/ha, which is equivalent to 100 kg per 1000 m2 good lawn fertilizer with 20% nitrogen
A self-fertilizing lawn has many benefits:
- requires no additional fertilization
- dark green lawn all season long
- less weeds and moss
- less watering and care
- dense turf resistant to trampling
Lawn installation and maintenance:
- Cultivated areas should be cleared of stones and weeds.
- Dig the ground, then level it.
- Sow from April to September. Spread the seeds evenly, then cover them gently with soil.
- In the first year mow less frequently - approx. every 2 weeks, at a height of 5 cm, so that young seedlings take root well and as soon as possible entered into symbiosis with soil microorganisms. You can help with lawn fertilizers to speed up rooting - use half the recommended dose.
- Year two and subsequent years - only mowing the lawn remains. The appearance of clover leaves on the lawn can be minimized by mowing low to a height of about 2.5 cm and mowing more often - every week. Visible cloverleaf reduction can be up to 5%.
The sowing rate of the mixture is 1 kg per 50 m² (including micro clover about 800 seeds/m²). As a regenerative overseeding, a 1 kg package is sufficient for 200 m².
