Anemone de Caen is perfect for rockeries. It is best planted in groups. It also stays fresh for a very long time as a cut plant in a vase.
Anemones grow best in a sunny or slightly shaded position, in humus soil rich in nutrients.
Before planting you should soak the bulbs for 12-24 hours in lukewarm water.
These plants like a sufficiently moist substrate, and during the growth period they require regular fertilization.
For winter Anemones should be covered against frost. They should not be watered during the summer rest.
The plant can be grown on the same site for several years.
