Description
The slowly dissolving, multi-purpose chlorine tablets for long-term disinfection of water in swimming pools. The tablets contain 3 components which are used for the disinfection of water, its clearing and assistance in fighting algae. Contact time which ensures effective disinfection is 24 hours. This is a product which effectively eliminates fungi, bacteria and algae in swimming pools. The formulation works very fast and for a long time. It is also simple in use and dosage.
Directions for use
Ideally, use the formulation after its prior resolution in water. Then, it must be poured into the swimming pool, nearby the water supply. The active chlorine level in water should be 1 mg/l. If the content of active chlorine exceeds this value, wait until it falls to the appropriate level. The content of the active chlorine in the swimming pool water and the pH reaction must be checked regularly by means of appropriate tests for the measurement of these parameters. The dosing operation should ideally be performed in the evening, when there are no people bathing in the swimming pool. Never mix the formulations directly with each other. When the optimal parameters of water in the swimming pool are obtained, it is possible to start using the swimming pool.
Above all, check the pH reaction of water - it should range between 7.0 - 7.4.
If the value is different, apply the pH corrector (Alkasol Plus or Calcid Minus).
Doses
Apply 10 tablets per 10m3 of swimming pool water every 7 days. The recommended temperature is 20OC.
The formulation is intended for control of algae, bacteria and fungi in swimming pools and for a fast increase in the content of active chlorine in the water.
Dosage
The appropriate number of tablets must be placed in the float or skimmer and then the circulation pump must be switched on. At the same time, conduct the water chlorination process using Extra Chlor for rapid disinfection, at a dose of 5 g/1m3. The active chlorine level should be below 0.5 mg/dm3. The active chlorine content in the swimming pool water as well as the pH reaction must be checked regularly by means of appropriate tests for the measurement of these parameters. The total dose of the active chlorine should not exceed 0.5mg/dm3 of swimming pool water at the moment of its usage by humans pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Health on requirements which should be fulfilled by water in swimming pools. The formulation is applied in the amount of 4-6g/m/day, when the swimming pool is filled with water, and then 2-3g/m/day (1 spoon is about 5g). However, before this, the pH reaction of water must be checked. - it should amount to 7.0 - 7.4 - then the formulation works most effectively. In the case of any different values, apply the pH corrector.
NOTE
Never throw the tablets directly into the swimming pools. The dosing operation should ideally be performed in the evening, when there are no persons bathing in the swimming pool. Never mix formulations directly with each other.
The formulation may release dangerous gases (chlorine). After the optimal parameters of the swimming pool water are obtained, it is possible to start using the swimming pool. Moderately toxic to humans and animals after swallowing.
