Narcissus also called Daffodil is a short plant with a wonderful smell, growing up to 35 cm tall, it is perfect for flower beds or as clumps on the lawn. It is an undemanding plant that is easy to grow.
It grows best in sunny or slightly shaded positions, also in the company of trees and shrubs, there are no requirements for the substrate.
For winter the planted bulbs should be covered with a thick layer of bark, straw or pine needles. After the last frosts in spring, the cover should be removed and the plants should be properly watered. Narcissi need watering if the spring is dry. It is recommended to fertilize them 2 or 3 times from the moment of flowering with multi-component fertilizers. Flowerbeds should be systematically weeded
Narcissus is transplanted every few years, then the bulbs should be dug up at the end of June or the beginning of July and dried. Store in baskets in a dry, ventilated room until planting.
