Peat pots - square 6x6/20
Description
Jiffy space pots are made from organic, biodegradable and environmentally friendly materials. They are part of the growing medium. They enrich the soil with organic matter. They can be planted together with the pot, there is no need to remove the plants from the pots, and there is no trouble to manage the used pots.
The pots are made from a mixture consisting of about 55% light sphagnum peat, 45% wood pulp and lime needed to achieve the right pH.
What substrates to use for filling
You can fill the pots with your own growing medium.
The pots are part of the growing medium.
You can save on the amount of substrate you use.
By using pots instead of filling pallets or tables with substrate, you can make significant savings.
Production
Roots can grow through the walls. Their growth is unrestricted, no root twisting occurs. The roots branch out to form a strong, good quality root system.
Plants can be planted together with pots.
Easy to adopt plants that do not feel shock after transplanting and continue to grow.
A good start guarantees an earlier and better quality crop.
Plants tolerate transportation well. They do not experience stress caused by lack of water. Satisfied customers place orders for the next season.
No diseases and pests. Avoiding disinfection costs.
In the case of trees and shrubs, the production time can be significantly shortened.
The advantage of peat pots is an even moisture content. Good water distribution in combined and single pots if they touch each other. Easy air circulation through porous walls.
Pot holes
Allow penetration by the roots, which are visible. Clearly rooted plants can be sold earlier, saving time.
Plants with weak root systems root faster.
Better drainage of excess water, e.g. if pots are placed in the open ground during rainfall.
Better aeration.
