Siberian Squill (Scilla Sibirica) is a low plant with bell-shaped or star-shaped flowers, beautifully presented in rock gardens or in the shade of shrubs.
It grows best in slightly shaded positions in well-drained, humus-rich and fertile soil.
It is a frost-resistant plantbut in snow-free and harsh winters, it can freeze, so it is worth taking care of a delicate cover, e.g. with bark, leaves or straw. In the event of prolonged drought, it is recommended to water the plants, especially in spring, keep the substrate moist and systematically remove the weeds around.
After flowering the bulbs can be left in the same place for several years or dug up at the end of July and stored until the next season in a dry and cool place.
