Shania Grass 5 kg
Description
High quality grass seed mixture suitable for laying the lawn at places where sun exposure is less, and which are partly shaded. It gives a soft lawn which does not require frequent mowing and is resistant to drying. This mixture is suitable for park areas, orchards, gardens, but at the same time it may be successfully applied for house lawns. Efficiency: 0.5 kg/20 m2.
The Shania grass seed mixture proves its value ideally at places where sun exposure is poor; it also guarantees the growth of dense lawns. The turf does not have to be mown frequently and watered generously. It can be planted in parks, orchards, gardens and around houses.
Directions for use
We remove the weeds and then prepare the substrate. At the very beginning, rubble, rubbish and stones must be removed thoroughly. Dig through the topsoil at the spade's depth. Then, water the soil abundantly and leave for 2-3 weeks in order to stabilise the ground; roll the soil to quicken the works The seeds must be sown into the soil with a suitable moisture.
Directly before sowing, the soil should be raked to a depth of 2-3 cm. For the even distribution of seeds, apply the criss cross sowing. After the sowing procedure, it is advisable to rake the area in order to cover the seeds with a 1-2 cm layer of soil. After the sowing, the entire area must be rolled. After sowing the grass, it is necessary to maintain the permanent moisture of soil. It is advisable to perform the first mowing when the grass reaches the height of 8-10 cm. It should then be cut down to 5.5 cm.
Application
The product should be applied for ornamental lawns at shady places. The sowing operation may be performed from April till the end of September.
Recommended dosage
Depending on the sowing technique, 1 kg of the mixture will suffice for 40 m2.
