Slug and snail trap 1 pc. Agrecol
Description
A snail trap is a special container behind a canopy, made of plastic, designed to attract and trap snails. By using this trap, there is no need to reach for chemicals, so it is a safe option for both humans and animals.
Application:
- Fill the trap container halfway with bait - such as beer.
- Remove the top cover of the trap and place the container in the hole you made earlier and sprinkle carefully all around with soil so that the rim of the container is level with the surface of the ground.
- Put on the top cover to protect the trap from dirt and rain.
- Fill the container so that the upper edge of the container is level with the ground.
- Check the trap regularly. When the trap is filled with snails, rinse it with water and place it back in its previous location and refill it with bait.
As bait you can use e.g:
- Beer
- Honey
- Milk mixed with water
- Yeast mixed with water
- Honey and yeast mixed with water
- Frying oil with water
- Rum flavor for cakes mixed with water
- Chopped potatoes, carrots, lettuce leaves
