Tomato 'Goldene Königin' (Lycopersicon esculentum) otherwise known as the "Golden Queen" is a variety known since 1871. Produces gold orange fruit, with a very thin skin and a mild, sweet and aromatic taste. It produces round 6-8 cm fruit with a weight of about 90 g. It is a vegetable very widely used in the kitchen, both as a component of dishes and also as a unique decoration. It grows up to 100 cm, it bears fruit very abundantly. The 'Goldene Königin' tomato variety can be successfully grown both in the ground and in containers and under covers. It ripens early.
'Goldene Königin' will grow best in light and well-drained soil. A high content of nutrients and a humus layer are required. Tomato prefers a sunny position, warm, sheltered from the winds. During the period of strong growth should be abundantly watered and fertilized.
