ZANTEDESCHIA - KALLA FLOREX GOLD is a beautiful yellow flowering plant which grows very well on humus and sunny, well drained soil. KALLA FLOREX GOLD tubers look perfect planted in pots. Planting different varieties and colors in one pot gives a stunning rainbow bouquet of blooms. For winter the tubers should be dug up, they are very poorly resistant to low temperature. The plant is suitable for cut flowers.

Position
The most suitable position for this plant is semi-shaded and warm.
Soil
Kalla is characterized as a bog plant, which means that the best substrate will be soil with constant moisture. It is very readily accepted in peat or clay soils.
Planting
When the soil is properly prepared the tuber should be planted at a depth of 7-10 cm. The outgrowths have to be directed upwards.
Care
The plant should be watered regularly during the growth period and during blooming it should be fertilized often. After flowering the plant should go through a 4-6 week resting phase, which means that it should not be watered or fertilized during this time.
Storage
Kalla tubers grown in the garden should be dug up before winter, dried and stored in a bright and dry room at 2-6 degrees until spring.
